Escribo historias sobre memoria, imaginación y las personas que intentan sobrevivirse a sí mismas.

Nací en Mérida, Venezuela, entre montañas, neblina y libros que parecían esconder otros mundos dentro.
Años después terminé viviendo en Bogotá, cargando conmigo algo que muchos migrantes conocen bien: la sensación de haber dejado partes de tu historia dispersas en distintos lugares.

Escribir empezó como muchas cosas importantes empiezan: como una forma de sobrevivir.
Primero fueron fragmentos. Después personajes que insistían en quedarse. Luego historias completas.

Mis novelas suelen moverse entre la ficción literaria, la imaginación y los paisajes emocionales de quienes intentan reconstruirse: relaciones que dejan cicatrices, identidades que cambian con el tiempo, recuerdos que no siempre se quedan donde los dejamos.

También aparecen cosas más simples que me acompañan siempre:

• la música (desde clásica hasta metal)
• los perros
• los lugares que se sienten un poco fuera del tiempo
• y las preguntas que uno no logra responder del todo

Creo que las historias pueden ser muchas cosas: refugio, espejo, conversación, o simplemente una forma de entender el caos.

I write stories about memory, imagination, and people trying to survive themselves.

I was born in Mérida, Venezuela, among mountains, fog, and books that seemed to hide other worlds inside them.
Years later I found myself living in Bogotá, carrying something many migrants know well: the feeling that pieces of your story remain scattered across different places.

Writing began the way many important things begin: as a way to survive.
At first there were fragments. Then characters who refused to leave. Eventually, entire stories.

My novels tend to move between literary fiction, imagination, and the emotional landscapes of people trying to rebuild themselves: relationships that leave scars, identities that shift with time, memories that don’t always stay where we left them.

Other things appear often in my stories too:

• music (from classical to metal)
• dogs
• places that feel slightly outside of time
• and questions that never fully resolve

I believe stories can be many things: refuge, mirror, conversation, or simply a way to understand chaos.
